Sea-Watch – Non è Stato il Mare Exhibition (Milan, 2025)
I collaborated with the NGO Sea-Watch as part of their exhibition Non è Stato il Mare (It Hasn’t Been the Sea), held at Fabbrica del Vapore in Milan. The exhibition marked 10 years of Sea-Watch’s civil search and rescue operations in the Central Mediterranean, and aimed to raise awareness of the humanitarian and political realities surrounding migration in this region.
Sea-Watch e.V. is a non-profit organization dedicated to conducting civilian rescue missions at sea, advocating for human rights and safe migration routes.
In addition to the exhibition, the program included a series of public events and talks featuring key voices from the humanitarian and legal fields, including Francesca Albanese, Antonio Manganella, Leila Belhady Mohamed, Tareq Tamimi, Valerio Nicolosi & Kepler-452.
I was part of the team as a photographer, videographer, and event hostess, documenting both the exhibition and the associated events.
On this page, you’ll find a selection of photos from the exhibition and talks, as well as a video produced for press and outreach purposes.
