Out of COVID-19: Workshop and Collaborative Documentary
While living in London, I collaborated with Photojournalism Hub, an organization dedicated to promoting photojournalism and supporting independent journalism that raises awareness around human rights and social justice.
I was part of the Photojournalism Hub team in a visual and communication role, contributing as a photographer, videographer, and social media manager.
In 2021, together with Miriam, I co-led a workshop designed to engage young Londoners in open conversations about their experiences during the COVID-19 pandemic. Through the teaching of basic documentary and moving image techniques, we worked collaboratively with participants to produce a short film reflecting their perspectives and emotions during this unprecedented time.
The project was part of "Out of COVID-19: Health Conversations with Young Londoners", an initiative supported by the Mayor of London, and organized by Photojournalism Hub. It offered a creative and safe space for young people to share their stories, develop media skills, and take ownership of how their experiences were represented.
